Readmission
Readmission of Dismissed or Administratively Withdrawn Student
Students whose enrollment in a degree-completion program is interrupted due to an academic dismissal or administrative withdrawal may apply for readmission to the program following a one-semester separation.
- A written request for readmission should be addressed to the Chair of the Department of Continuing Studies and filed with the student services advisor.
- The request must include an explanation of the change in the student’s circumstances, which now permit successful completion of the program, as well as the measures taken to ensure satisfactory academic progress upon re-enrollment.
- A financial aid eligibility request must be filed with the Student Financial Planning office prior to re-enrollment.
- Individuals who are dismissed for academic deficiency or who were administratively withdrawn may be conditionally readmitted to the University. Failure to adhere to the mandatory conditions of readmission may result in dismissal from the University prior to the conclusion of the semester.
Readmission of Student-initiated Withdrawn Student
Students whose enrollment in a degree-completion program is interrupted due to a student-initiated withdrawal may apply for readmission to the program by contacting a student services advisor.
